Announcing InterviewMe’s blog: The first of many updates worth checking-out if you’re interested in keeping abreast of what the latest news is with InterviewMe and general job hunting advice.

Want to join our newsletter? Too bad! We don’t believe in pushy marketing or sending emails every time we’ve got an update that’s meaningful to us but not all that useful for you. We just believe in helping people get jobs and showcase their real value as professionals. If you want the latest updates you’ll have to check the blog yourself - or subscribe to our Atom feed.

If you still don’t know what InterviewMe is, there’s an about page, an FAQ, and of course you can always find out the simplest way by taking a look at a live profile. In short: there is more to you than your resume. InterviewMe is an interactive profile that allows you to showcase your real career highlights and expertise and gives employers or recruiters a query box where they can ask questions about your professional history. In short: It lets employers interview you before they’ve even spoken with you. Its purpose is to help differentiate you from other candidates during the job application process so you can stand out, highlight your real career accompishments, and share with employers the information they really care about rather than trying to guess and customize your resume every time you apply. Just include your InterviewMe link on job applications or on your resume and employers have the opportunity to ask you what they really want to know - even if it’s not obvious from your resume. More than that: You get to see what recruiters or employers are asking about you. You get analytics that show how many people are viewing your link, downloading your resume, and asking it questions. And you see whenever the employer assks a question your profile can’t answer. This lets you improve your profile over time and also gives you deep insight into what employers are looking for and how you can improve your job searching strategy.

So try it out - it’s free!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck in your job hunt!
